Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey offered out to 'half of Europe' in attempt to secure January deal
Aaron Ramsey’s agency have begun offering out transfer packages to top European sides in order to manufacture a dead for the Arsenal midfielder, according to reports.
Ramsey’s existing Arsenal contract expires at the end of the season, meaning he can negotiate an exit with a European club in January or leave the Emirates on a free transfer in the summer.
The Wales international has been unable to agree terms on a new deal with reports claiming that Arsenal withdrew an initial offer they tabled, leaving Ramsey now empty-handed.
The player himself has said he intends to see out the full season at Arsenal but that hasn’t stopped his representatives testing the market in search for a deal, according to Gabriele Marcotti’s report for Corriere dello Sport.
He claims Ramsey’s agency have managed to stir up interest from Italian trio Juventus, AC Milan and Lazio.
Arsenal themselves have yet to take a final stance on the uncertain situation and are operating with caution following the lengthy contract sagas which saw Alexis Sanchez leave for Manchester United last season, with Mesut Ozil being signed up to a new inflated £350,000-a-week deal.
Newspaper reports in England have suggested Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are all monitoring the situation with a view to an approach.
