Euro Paper Talk: Mystery Euro giant offers Usain Bolt two-year deal
Usain Bolt could be on the move to Europe after being offered a two-year deal, while Matthijs de Ligt has stated his preferred next club, according to Monday’s European papers.
BOLT AGENT DETAILS NEWS OF INTEREST FROM EUROPE
Usain Bolt’s agent claims the sprint king has been offered a two-year deal by one of European football’s giants.
The Jamaican has launched his football career in spectacular fashion by notching a double on his debut for his Australian side Central Coast Mariners – but it seems his stint Down Under might be a short one if agent Tony Rallis is proved correct.
Speaking to ESPN, Rallis said: “There is a club in Europe that has offered Bolt a two-year deal, they have been taken over by new owners who have aspirations of Champions League football.”
Speculation as to which side that is began immediately with Italian outlet Sportmediaset noting how several sources reckoned the club in question to be Serie A giants AC Milan.
However, the club was later confirmed as Maltese champions Valletta.

JUVE WANT RONALDO REUNION WITH FORMER REAL STAR
Juventus have reportedly entered the race to sign Colombia international and Manchester United target James Rodriguez.
The Colombian star joined the Bundesliga giants on a two-year loan deal from Real last summer but reportedly faces an unclear future amid Bayern Munich’s struggles to start the season.
A number of reports suggested he could still move to the Premier League with United long-term admirers, or even seek to return to the Bernabeu to try and rekindle his career in LaLiga.
The two-year loan agreement was worth €10m, with Bayern also possessing a €35m option to buy at the end of that spell.
News that Bayern want to make the arrangement permanent emerged in May when Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted he had been impressed by the player.
However, Rai Sport now claim that Serie A champions Juventus are keen on hijacking a possible deal for Rodriguez.
The Bianconeri want to re-unite Rodriguez with former Real team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Turin in during the summer.
They apparently believe that sponsors Adidas and agent Jorge Mendes could help to get the deal over the line, with the former reportedly willing to help finance a £62million bid.
