Jamie Vardy will take time away from England World Cup preparation to check on his V9 academy
Jamie Vardy will use a rare day off from England World Cup duty to help launch his latest V9 academy.
The striker is once again giving 42 hopefuls from Non-League the chance to impress professional clubs from June 3 to June 8 at Manchester City’s Etihad training complex.
Vardy will visit the academy on Friday June 8, the day after England’s final warm-up game against Costa Rica, when Gareth Southgate’s players are off.
While most of the squad will be putting their feet up, Vardy will be meeting some of the prospects for himself and watching them play.
