Liverpool FC transfer news: Reds want Nabil Fekir deal done before World Cup but Lyon president is playing hardball
Liverpool target Nabil Fekir in action for France
Liverpool want to tie up a deal for Lyon captain Nabil Fekir before the start of the World Cup.
The Reds have made the attacking midfielder one of their top targets after tracking him throughout this season.
It is reported a deal could be on the cards for around £60m, but as of yet no agreement has been found.
Liverpool are well aware of this summer’s shortened transfer window and, according to Canal+, they want a deal done before the World Cup starts.
Negotiations are underway over a move for Fekir, but Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is so far playing hardball.
