Real Madrid transfer news: Big Neymar update after Champions League win – Spanish press

The Brazilian superstar only swapped Barcelona for PSG in the summer.

However, he hasn’t found life easy in the city of lights.

The 26-year-old had a high-profile spat with Edinson Cavani and has struggled to form a bond with PSG supporters.

He also faces a race against time to be match fit for the World Cup after breaking a metatarsal earlier in the season.

Real Madrid have been hotly tipped to secure his signature.

Los Blancos secured Champions League glory last night but a summer overhaul is still expected.

“PSG ace Neymar has been linked with Real Madrid and Man City”

According to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol – who are famed for their sensational transfer rumours – Real have agreed to put any transfer talks on the back burner until after the World Cup.

However, it’s suggested Neymar now has his eyes on a sensational Premier League move to Manchester City.

The 26-year-old has admitted he’s determined to work with Pep Guardiola at some point in his career.

“I have always wanted to work with Guardiola,” he told ESPN Brasil.

“It’s different, I arrived [at Barca] after he left.

“I really want to work with him.”
