Transfer news: Manchester United and Manchester City have bids for Inter star Milan Skriniar rejected
Skriniar has caught the eye playing for Inter this season
Manchester City and Manchester United have both failed with £53m bids for Inter defender Milan Skriniar.
The 23-year-old has flourished during his debut season at Inter this year and interest in him is high this summer.
Man City are hot on the Slovakia international’s tail after wanting him a year ago, while local rivals United are now keeping tabs on him too.
But, according to Corriere dello Sport, both clubs have had their opening offers rejected by Inter.
It is reported that the Manchester pair made bids of £53m for Skriniar – and these were instantly knocked back.
Inter currently have no plans to sell their star centre-back, particularly as they will be back playing Champions League football next season.
